Job Description

Vineyards Country Club’s Wellness Center & Spa is seeking an experienced and motivated Personal Trainer (Independent Contractor) to join our dynamic fitness team. We are looking for a fitness professional who can deliver a diverse range of training services, including 30- and 60-minute personal training sessions, small group training, and group fitness classes.

The ideal candidate is passionate about health and wellness, committed to providing exceptional service, and dedicated to helping members achieve their fitness goals in a safe, supportive, and motivating environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individualized fitness assessments and develop tailored exercise programs to meet clients’ goals, needs, and physical abilities.
• Provide safe, effective, and engaging one-on-one and small group training sessions.
• Lead group fitness classes, promoting a positive and energetic atmosphere.
• Maintain professionalism and ensure the safety and well-being of all clients during sessions.
• Foster strong relationships with members and promote a welcoming, encouraging environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a personal trainer working with a diverse clientele.
• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Physiology, or a related field preferred.
• Current certification from a nationally recognized organization (AFAA, ACE, NASM, or ACSM).
• Ability to work effectively with both older and younger populations, including individuals with physical limitations or disabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and self-motivation.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Passion for health, fitness, and continuous professional growth.
