POSITION OVERVIEW:
Leads the development and enforcement of data governance policies and standards, ensuring data is well-managed, trusted and compliant across the organization
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Own and implement data governance policies, standards, cataloging, lineage and quality management to ensure data integrity and trust
2. Oversee the development and maintenance of data catalogs and lineage to enhance data accessibility and usability
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data governance principles into business processes and technology solutions
4. Monitor and report on data governance metrics and performance to senior management
5. Manage, lead and develop a professional data governance team fostering technical growth and continuous improvement
6. Perform other duties as assigned
7. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, information systems, or related field
Five (5) years of experience in data governance or related fields
Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, policies and standards
Experience with data cataloging, lineage and quality management tools
Familiarity with data compliance and regulatory requirements
Strong analytical skills for assessing data governance and identifying areas for improvement
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and business teams
Leadership skills to guide and develop a high-performing data governance team

Pay Transparency: Compensation listed reflects the pay range or pay rate reasonably expected for this position. Actual pay determined by job-related factors permitted by law and relevant to position, such as experience, tenure, market level, pay at the location, performance, schedule, and work assignment. Pay: Pay Range: $116,600.00 - $204,050.00 per year
