Guest Service Representative

IMIC Hotels – TownePlace Suites by Marriott, Mount Pleasant, SC

Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Pay Range: $16–$18 per hour (based on experience)

About the Role

Join the IMIC Hotels family at TownePlace Suites by Marriott Mount Pleasant! As a Guest Service Representative , you'll be the welcoming face of our hotel—ensuring guests enjoy a seamless experience from check-in to check-out and representing our values of authentic Southern hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival and departure.
• Handle check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and payment processing accurately.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve concerns professionally.
• Provide information about hotel amenities and area attractions.
• Maintain accurate records, balance cash drawers, and complete daily reports.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for guest requests.
• Keep the front desk and lobby clean and organized.
• Demonstrate flexibility to cover preferred shifts—primarily 3 pm–11 pm, with occasional 7 am–3 pm shifts.
• Opportunity to learn and support night audit procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Calm under pressure, with excellent multitasking abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency; previous experience with property management systems is a plus.
• Hospitality or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
