Job Description

PPS, in cooperation with ABW Logistics, are in search of Forklift Operators at their temperature controlled facility in Clayton, IN. The ideal candidate should be dependable, have reliable transportation, and available to work full time.

Pay Rate : $21.33 -$23.14/hour.

Requirements for Forklift Operators:
After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, candidate must meet below qualifications:

• Ability to multi-task and follow instructions as assigned by supervisor.
• Attention to detail and accuracy of documentation.
• Able to understand both written and oral instructions.
• Use of WMS (Warehouse Management System) computer software and the RF Interface.
• Excellent vision, depth perception and motor skills required.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time - up to 12 hours.
• Physical ability to bend, reach and lift for long periods of time – up to 12 hrs.
• Able to distinguish warehouse pests and document any sightings.
• Ability to operate the designated material handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Ability to achieve and maintain the required production standard for the assigned function.

Responsibilities of Forklift Operators:

• Case picking.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Transporting materials.
• Bulk picking.
