Job Description

Summary

We are seeking a skilled, motivated estimator to join our growing team. In this position, you will be responsible for estimating flooring projects, labor and materials costs. You must have a keen attention to detail and skills at estimating projects from a bird's-eye view to set our builders expectations accurately.

Duties

• Assess projects by identifying project requirements, labor, and material quantities
• Read blueprints and analyze all other applicable documents to prepare jobs
• Collaborate with designers, field managers and project coordinators during job creation to ensure overall accuracy
• Act as the final say in the calculation, analysis, and adjustment of the job
• Recommend cost-reduction options

Requirements

• Previous on-the-job training is a big plus
• Ability to operate independently or with a crew
• Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
• Critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills
• Time management skills

Nice To Haves

Construction, Flooring, Cabinets and/or RFMS/ERRM/MEASURE, CAD or 20/20 software experience helpful but not necessary. We are willing to train the right person.
