We’re seeking Commercial Counsel to join our growing in-house legal team onsite at our Norwalk headquarters. This role is perfect for a commercial contracts attorney or corporate counsel who thrives in fast-paced, tech-driven environment and enjoys collaborating directly with business teams. You’ll support the Sales, Operations, and Finance teams by reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, from NDAs and SOWs to customer-facing contracts with Fortune 100 companies. You’ll also gain exposure to broader corporate legal and compliance matters as you grow with the business.
What You’ll Do - Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, amendments, SaaS agreements and vendor contracts.
- Partner with Sales and Operations teams to provide clear, practical, and business-minded legal guidance under tight monthly timelines.
- Ability to identify and mitigate legal risks while aligning contracting strategy with business objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline contract management processes and improve efficiency.
- Take on additional legal matters such as research, compliance matters, process improvement initiatives and support strategic initiatives as needed.
What We’re Looking For - JD from an accredited U.S. law school and licensed to practice in the U.S.
- 3–5 years of experience practicing commercial, corporate, or contract law (prior in-house experience preferred).
- Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Comfortable working independently while also possessing a collaborative, proactive mindset with a focus on practical business solutions.
- Familiarity with high-growth companies, contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems and use of contract playbooks a plus.
